When I cap, let's say NBA as an example, I go through the day's card and scratch my notes down. I pick a few things I like then start to narrow those down until I select my wagers for the day. As an example I may initially have four plays I am looking at and end up wagering on two of those. The other 2, I would consider a "lean" but not a wager. My question is, do YOU want your leans to cover? (you did a good job capping and got it right) or do YOU want your leans NOT to cover? (you got it wrong, but made good decision to lay off the play)
I am not sure what my answer is to this.
